US Open 2026 tee times: Full R1 groupings and UK and Ireland start times for first round at Shinnecock Hills in New York

Groupings and tee times for the opening round of the 126th US Open, held at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York.

Masters champion Rory McIlroy will begin his bid for a second US Open title alongside Ryder Cup team-mates Tommy Fleetwood and Ludvig Ã…berg,15 years on from claiming his maiden major title at the end.

Scottie Scheffler is also an early starter on Thursday as he begins his first bid at completing the career Grand Slam, going out at 8.14am (1.14pm BST) with defending champion JJ Spaun and 2025 US amateur winner Mason Howell.

Brooks Koepka - the winner the last time Shinnecock hosted the US Open in 2018 - goes out with compatriots Cameron Young and Chris Gotterup, while two-time US Open champion Bryson DeChambeau partners Viktor Hovland and 2022 winner Matt Fizpatrick.

PGA Championship winner Aaron Rai is off at 1.14pm (6.14pm BST) with Collin Morikawa and Jason Day, both past major champions, while another marque threeball sees Justin Rose partner Jordan Spieth and Jon Rahm.

Play begins at 6.35am (11.35am BST), with a two-tee start in operation for the 156-man field over the first two days, with all four rounds exclusively live on Your Site.
